Words of Hope and Faith for the Weary

Go to God to Find Help

While contemplating my life with God and his goodness, I realized that through faith and belief in Jesus, we are able to overcome any obstacle in our lives. Through Jesus, we received the greatest gift possible. Free passage into the Holy Father God directly, without any further sacrifice.
Luke 23:45 tells us, “And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in two.” When Jesus died on the cross, the veil that separated God from us was torn in half. Many know that Jesus died on the cross. However, the actual price that he paid is misunderstood. No longer is any sacrifice needed. Jesus paid final one. We can approach the father with peace knowing that he loves us. Jesus paid no small price either, because if we understand the veil we know that his death was the ultimate gift that God could give to us.
The veil through all of the history from the old and New Testament symbolized the separation of God from man. Only in the certain times could certain priests enter behind it. The veil in the temple, which was torn in two, was made of strong thread and also threads of gold were weaved with in it, making it impossible for anything or anyone on earth to destroy it, in those times. However, God, destroyed it himself, ripping the 60 ft. curtain from top to bottom. Opening the door to his Holy of Holiest, and his glory.
Sometimes we hurt others; sometimes others hurt us. People and our own thoughts condemn us. However, if we remember the gift of Jesus, we hold on to our confidence, remembering Heb 4:16 “Let us therefore come body unto the temple of grace that we may obtain Mercy, and find Grace to help in the time of need.” Go to God find his grace. Know that when Jesus died he took all of the bad things that you would do, and all of the hard times that you would face on himself.
Sickness comes against you, debt threatens to destroy you, and by our own hand we get ourselves into horrible situations. Though all of this, we need to remember Jesus died to help us. Talk to God as you would a friend. He already knows what you are experiencing, even better than you do. Ask him to forgive you, in the name of Jesus, if you have done wrong, and know that he will. Do not let your circumstances defeat you, he will give you an answer better than anything that you could come up with yourself; giving you dreams of hope and happiness. Let your faith in him reign and keep going, do not quit regardless of what things look like.
