Words of Hope and Faith for the Weary

Happy Holidays, God is With Us

Happy Holidays, God is With Us

Ihope that everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying their holidays. Although you might not have received everything you wanted, know there is something much more important this season than things; the love of God.

I am feeling blessed this Christmas, unlike last year when my heart was broken because of the recent loss of my dear mother, who left me to join Jesus, distance from my bother and sister, and the passing of my dog of many years. My dog Telee died one week later. Both I loved dearly, leaving an empty space within my heart.

As always, today I give God all of the praise for the marvelous works He is doing in my life, and thank Him for encouraging me to keep my faith strong to the reach the end of this turbulent year. I have two books published now, have just acquired a new property, and His spiritual blessings kept me strong all year long. Trust me, the last year for me has been one of loss, but I have made it through it, and you can make it to with God’s help. Over, the holiday season, my heart has been immersed with God’s goodness, and the gift of his tremendous love through Jesus, his son.

I visited the stores, and for the most part people appeared happy as they busily searched for the perfect gift and extravagant Christmas decorations. This made me wonder if Christmas has been reduced to nothing more than spending tons of money on the Hatchimals, one of latest hot toys, cell phones, and other ‘things’. Sadly for many, those objects will no longer be used, or discarded by the end of the year.

Has the genuine reason for the holiday been forgotten? From all appearances, it might seem so; however, I believe that there are still many people who understand the reason for the Christmas holiday, and thank God for his precious gift.

Below, I would like to share a video done by the Andrew Wommack Ministries which exemplifies the love of God. In watching the video, Mary mostly pains me. A mother too, I questioned myself if I could have watched my own son die, and I came to conclusion that I was not sure that I would have had the strength. The Holy Spirit then revealed to me, It was He that helped her endure it, as He helped me pass through all of my own personal burdens. To this, I say, God is good in His mercy and grace, and by His spirit there is strength, hope, and miracles.

He sent His son, Jesus, to the earth to die for every one of us, and with that kind of love, how could he not care for our welfare.

John 3:16-17 (KJV) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The beautiful operatic performance below both moved me and comforted me. Please watch it in its entirety to hear the awesome message.
